Alex Crockford is a fitness model, trainer, and the creator of the #CrockFitApp. He founded #CrockFit, an online body transformation company, to help people transform their bodies and lives. Crockford has a passion for life with a personal pact to never stop learning and progressing my skills, abilities and experiences, to help change the lives of millions of people.
Where did you grow up and what was your childhood like? Did you have any particular experiences/stories that shaped your adult life?
I grew up in Surrey, UK. I had a loving childhood. I started working early (paper round) which taught me good work ethics, and a sense of responsibility and independence.
What is something you wish you would’ve realized earlier in your life?
The power of our minds! Manifestation, law of attraction, and meditation.
What are bad recommendations you hear in your profession or area of expertise?
Looking for quick fixes/results. The mindset to get results tomorrow, instead of understanding that it is a long continuous journey.
Tell me about one of the darker periods you’ve experienced in life. How you came out of it and what you learned from it?
With every tough period I’ve had and will have, I know that if it doesn’t challenge you it won’t change you. These are tests for self-improvement.
What is one thing that you do that you feel has been the biggest contributor to your success so far?
I think ultimately, it’s the sheer power of my consistency and persistency, day in day out, that has helped me.

What habit or behavior that you have pursued for a few years has most improved your life?
A good evening/sleep routine! It really sets you up for the next day, giving you the best starting block to have a fantastic day. Good sleep is greatly underappreciated.
What are your strategies for being productive and using your time most efficiently?
Planning in advance what I’m going to do and follow a schedule. Self-awareness about time-wasting.
What book(s) have influenced your life the most? Why?
Unlimited Power by Tony Robbins. I’m a big fan of Tony and his teachings have given me a blueprint for me to live my life to eh full!
Do you have any quotes you live by or think of often?
I love ‘there’s no success without sweat’. Of course, in fitness, but also in life.
