I think it all shapes your whole life….wins and losses, happiness and sadness….in the end it’s how we deal with these and the many other challenges life throws at us.

What is something you wish you would’ve realized earlier in your life?

I wish I had the passion to learn another language. I studied French when I was 13 but wasn’t interested enough.

I’m not sure I could point to any in particular. I think most people recommending something are doing it using their best knowledge and experience….so I wouldn’t call it bad.

Tell me about one of the darker periods you’ve experienced in life. How you came out of it and what you learned from it?

I would say the 8 years I was suffering from a debilitating auto-immune disease would have been the darkest period of my life. I eventually took control of my diet and mindset and overcame the illness and have been medication-free ever since. The most powerful lesson was that I’m my own best healer. You have to take full responsibility for your health and wellness.

Be of service to others.

What book(s) have influenced your life the most?

I’m not a big reader of books….but the books that have had the greatest impact are those that have been of a self-development genre. THE WAY OF THE PEACEFUL WARRIOR and THE ALCHEMIST are good examples. Why? Because they enabled me to think outside the box and see things from another perspective.

Do you have any quotes you live by or think of often?

Yes, I have there. First: The Truth will set you Free. Second: Lady Luck follows a person of action. Lastly: You don’t learn anything new, you just remember what you’ve forgotten.
