Rev. Tracy L. Clark is a high-performance energy coach known around the world for helping people increase health, prosperity, and intuition. She is the founder of The Body Regeneration Academy and the author of God Where Are You? It’s Me!. Rev. Tracy is also a keynote speaker and syndicated radio host.
Where did you grow up and what was your childhood like? Did you have any experiences/stories that shaped your adult life?
I grew up in the small town of Flin Flon, Saskatchewan Canada.
I was born very sick with my legs and hips disconnected, pectusevectum, my stomach valve closed shut, and a damaged nervous system that caused excruciating pain. When I was 3 years old my father suddenly moved his girlfriend into our family home and kicked my sister, mom, and me out at midnight. In an instant, my foundation of ‘safety and security’ crumbled. Confused and frightened, with only a few belongings we managed to stuff into garbage bags, we ended up traveling 8 hours on a bus to shelter in a town far away.
At the age of 5, I was the youngest child in Canada diagnosed with ulcers, diverticulitis, and irritable bowel syndrome. I was kidnapped by a pedophile at 5 and had a near-death experience at 7 years of age. I then had many more health issues showed up. This lead to many traumas and issues that needed to be released from my system to unlock the illness, disease, and trauma that had taken root in my body.
What is something you wish you would’ve realized earlier in your life?
I wish that I had learned earlier that I was a truly powerful being, and that worrying was not good energy to carry. To release the fear within me and to and run my life from empowerment. I also wish I had learned that there was no such thing as failure and just because I struggled in school did not mean I wasn’t smart. It just meant I learned a different way.
What are bad recommendations you hear in your profession or area of expertise?
Keep going even if it does not feel right. You must finish what you started!
Unfortunately, we have been programmed and conditioned to believe that we are failures if we do not finish what we started. We have been taught that there is shame and guilt if we do not complete a project or a task. This learning has disconnected us from our innate knowing and intuition. We are not failures if we change course and pivot our direction. It is through tapping into ourselves, knowing what does not feel right, what no longer resonates with us, or what is no longer in alignment with us, that we learn from our experiences and follow our intuition – which leads us to true fulfillment.
Tell me about one of the darker periods you’ve experienced in life. How you came out of it and what you learned from it?
After my second near-death experience and leaving an abusive marriage, the medical experts told me that my body was failing and there was nothing else anyone could do! The best that I could hope for was to ‘manage’ the pain, illnesses, and dis-ease. I refused to believe that I was resigned to a life filled with such pain and hopelessness. I was the sole caregiver to my two young girls and I knew that there was something much better out there for me. I started to look outside the box at non-traditional therapies. I found energy medicine and it changed my life, restored my ill body and my entire world changed. I went from 98 percent miserable and depressed to 98 percent happy. It took time, but it all fell into place!
What is one thing that you do that you feel has been the biggest contributor to your success so far?
I live authentically every day; I live my life how I want to live- not what others expect of me. I follow my intuition and do what feels right! I do not do anything out of obligation. I love to be in service and I listen carefully to my intuition to keep evolving my path. I do not push timelines and ensure no matter what project I am working on that I complete all I know that is required. I do not like to rush projects at all, which oddly enough, I am always done way ahead of time! I am very kind to myself, so if something does not work out I take a moment to figure out why then regroup and carry on. I do not believe in failure at all!
What is your morning routine?
I wake up around six. Somedays I wake up earlier but I always follow what my body requires. I say my gratitudes before I get out of bed. I also say thank you for all the blessings that are coming towards me. I get ready in silence and speak to the universe and send love to the world. I then go for a walk with my puppy and enjoy being in nature and connecting to the earth. Before I start my workday, I find by prepping my space like this I am way more at peace, and I can allow the day to unfold without feeling anxious or stressed. Getting into nature first thing in the morning allows my headspace to be clear as well before a full day’s work begins, which will consist of a lot of planning, phone, and web chats! I enjoy a warm cup of tea and align my day!
What habit or behavior that you have pursued for a few years has most improved your life?
Aligning the energy and having a constant connection with the Divine. Staying in gratitude and celebrating all the wins of the people around me!!! Plus tuning out the outside world. I find I spend less time listening to others, and more time following my intuition and inner knowing. This allows me to live my life the way I desire, not how others would desire me to live.
What are your strategies for being productive and using your time most efficiently?
I do what is called “Expanding Time” in the energetic field. Yes, my days are organized however, I keep my days in harmony. Even with long workdays, I make sure I stick to my self-care. When you are in full allowance of believing that everything happens for a reason you do not get upset if the day takes a twist! It allows me to just be in the flow and adjust accordingly.
What book(s) have influenced your life the most? Why?
Wayne Dyer’s “The Power of Intention”. I had spent most of my life feeling like an outcast and misfit. My perception of the world, how we interacted with and related to it, varied greatly from those around me. This was the first book that made me realize that much of what I was thinking and the feeling was accurate.
Do you have any quotes you live by or think of often?
Trust, Know, Believe. – Rev Tracy L Clark
Trust – Trusting means that you take a leap of faith, even when everyone around you has a different opinion. Listening to what is inside of you, to your instincts and intuition at all costs. Trusting that what you are doing is guided and will work out.
Know – Knowing is understanding that you are unshakeable. You may not be able to explain to someone why you are doing something; you just feel it in your bones that it is the right thing to do for YOU.
Believe – Believing without a shadow of a doubt. This is the area that you go deep within yourself and believe that there are many areas of life are unfolding that you may not be able to see now or explain. The timing of things becomes unimportant!
